Snap in Capacitors

Using a Large Can Snap-in Capacitor to replace large can screw terminal capacitors in your application can greatly increase your options in size and reliability and decrease cost.

Snap-In Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors are now commonly used in parallel and series parallel to replace large can screw terminal capacitors. Using multiple Snap-Ins is more efficient in terms of volume and cost. In addition, they can also reduce the cost of assembly while functioning at higher quality and reliability levels. Snap-In Capacitors have demonstrated a quality level of less than 4 PPM over the past 5 years.

Snap-In Capacitors are available in case sizes ranging from 22 mm x 20 mm (dia. x lg.) through 50 x 105 providing for efficient use of space when space is at a premium. Many small parts or a few large parts may be connected in parallel to achieve large capacitance which supports voltage filtering and hold up requirements.
